Nature sets the rules.
There are five tank sizes in the app. The Nano comes free, the rest are bought with coins. Bigger means more water, and more water means more life — the limit is biology, not a quota.
The side profiles are to scale: width is the length, height is the cross-section derived from the volume (assumed square). Capacity comes from bioload, with the clownfish as the yardstick: one clownfish is exactly one unit, a yellow tang is two and a half.
