The Snakehead Betta (Betta channoides) is a tropical freshwater fish of the family Osphronemidae. It swims in midwater, close to the bottom. It grows to 2 cm (standard length, tail fin excluded). The IUCN Red List rates it Endangered. In the aquarium it is kept at 23–30 °C.
