The Mahachai Betta (Betta mahachaiensis) is a tropical freshwater fish of the family Osphronemidae. It swims in midwater, close to the bottom. It grows to 4.4 cm (standard length, tail fin excluded). In the aquarium it is kept at 22–28 °C.
