The Red-brown Dwarf Betta (Betta burdigala) is a tropical freshwater fish of the family Osphronemidae. It swims in midwater, close to the bottom. It grows to 2.5 cm (standard length, tail fin excluded). The IUCN Red List rates it Critically Endangered. In the aquarium it is kept at 22–30 °C.
