Quick answers
- Springer's damselfish size: how big does it get?
- Adults reach about 5 cm. The largest on record measured 5.5 cm (total length). Record sizes among the 13 Chrysiptera species on LumaReef: 4.9 cm (Greyback Damselfish) to 12.5 cm (Twospot Demoiselle).
- Springer's damselfish tank size: what is the minimum?
- A tank at least 75 cm long. In LumaReef that is the Standard tank or larger.
- Springer's damselfish water parameters: what does it need?
- Temperature 23–27 °C, pH 7.8–8.5. Close to what most Chrysiptera on LumaReef need (23–27 °C).
- Springer's damselfish tank mates: what can it live with?
- It gets along with 89 of the 99 reef species in the catalogue, such as Neon goby, Yasha goby, and High-fin shrimpgoby.
- Springer's damselfish: alone or in a group?
- It can be kept on its own.
- Springer's damselfish and corals: is it reef safe?
- Yes, it leaves corals alone.
- Springer's damselfish depth: how deep does it live?
- In the wild, 4 to 30 m down. Deeper than most Chrysiptera on LumaReef (1–14 m).
