Glossolepis wanamensis

The Lake Wanam Rainbowfish (Glossolepis wanamensis) is a tropical freshwater fish of the family Melanotaeniidae. It swims in midwater close to the bottom, between 10 and 10 m deep. It grows to 9 cm (standard length, tail fin excluded). The IUCN Red List rates it Critically Endangered. In the aquarium it is kept at 25–30 °C.
