Hyphessobrycon peruvianus

The Peruvian tetra (Hyphessobrycon peruvianus) is a tropical freshwater fish of the family Characidae. It swims in midwater, close to the bottom. It grows to 3.9 cm (standard length, tail fin excluded). The IUCN Red List rates it Least Concern. In the aquarium it is kept at 22–27 °C.
