Explains how the lumareef.app promotional site and the LumaReef apps use cookies and similar technologies. The short answer: there is no tracking cookie on this site.

Fields marked “to be filled in” are not published yet. These fields are mandatory content of the distance sales contract (Article 5 of the Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation) and part of the disclosure obligation (Article 10 of the KVKK); instead of publishing a guessed detail, they are openly shown as missing.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file saved to your browser when you visit a site. Sites use cookies to keep a session alive, to remember preferences or to measure visitor behaviour.
Local storage (localStorage) and session storage are areas held in the browser that do similar jobs. This policy covers all of them together.
Which cookies this site has
The lumareef.app promotional site writes no cookies. The page uses neither session cookies nor persistent cookies; it also writes nothing to local storage or session storage.
Measurement, advertising and visitor tracking tools are not used on this site. There is no analytics tool installed that would show who browsed the page, when, and in what order.
For this reason there is no cookie consent window on the site either: there is no cookie to consent to.
How your language preference is remembered
The language is held not in a cookie but in the address itself: /tr, /en, /de and so on. Your language choice is therefore a shareable link, not a record stored in your browser.
If the address carries no language, the server looks at the language preference your browser sends and redirects you to the appropriate language. This information is used at that moment and is not stored.
Fonts and external resources
The fonts of the page are downloaded at build time and served from our own server. When you open the site, your browser makes no request to a third party for a font; your IP address therefore reaches no one by that route.
The site has no embedded video player, social media component, map or advertising tag. The three-dimensional water scene on the page runs in your browser and sends no data outside.
Mandatory records arising from the infrastructure
The site is served through a cloud hosting provider. The provider may keep server logs for the security of the service and the routing of requests; those logs contain the IP address and the time of the request.
These records are a technical necessity and are not used for marketing. Retention periods are stated in the “Retention periods” section of the Privacy Policy.
The situation in the mobile and television apps
The mobile app uses no browser cookies. It keeps three records on the device: the state of your aquarium, your camera view preference and your interface language. None of them contains an identity, a key or a password.
All three stay only on your device and are deleted when you remove the app. The reset option in the app deletes the aquarium record from the device.
The viewer that runs on a connected screen also writes nothing to the browser’s storage; the screen’s access key is carried only in the address bar and is not saved to the browser.
Managing this from your browser
Even though there is no cookie to block on this site, you can block cookies for all sites from your browser settings, delete existing cookies and clear site data.
These settings do not affect how lumareef.app works.
Changes
If we add a measurement or personalisation tool in the future, we update this policy and, where required, ask for cookie consent. A cookie that requires consent does not run before you give it.
